Reactive vs. Proactive Assistance

You'll see these two terms used around Kalruck. Here's what each actually means today, and what's still on the roadmap.

Reactive — available today

Every Kalruck AI Assistant today is reactive: it responds when someone asks it something, whether through your website's chat widget or inside AI Workspace. This is the live, dependable behavior you can build on right now.

Proactive automation, in context

Some automatic behavior already exists — but at the AI Workspace level, not from an individual Assistant acting on its own. Reminders and daily summaries can surface automatically inside your workspace. A Assistant independently reaching out or taking action on a schedule isn't a current capability.
